BLACKPOOL LATIN PROFESSIONAL WDC 2018: Riccardo Cocchi & Yulia Zagoruychenko (USA) winners

Professionals Latin, one of the most emotional and long-awaited competition groups at the Blackpool Dance Festival, and 2018 was no exception. But if the troika of prize winners has remained unchanged for a long time, then an extremely competitive competition develops outside of it.  Individual competitions for each dance in professional competitions in Blackpool start with only 1/8 finals. Vladimir Litvinov and Olga Nikolaeva in the five dances held in the quarterfinals, a similar result was shown by Anton Sboev – Patricia Ranis. Anton and Valeria Semenov reached the quarterfinals in all the dances except jive. Andrey and Anastasia Kiseleva danced in 1/4 of rumba, and in 1/8 – all other dances. Three other Russian couples perform all dance competitively in 1/8: Vitaliy Didenko – Victoria Vershinin Pavel Povalyaev – Sophia Povalyaeva Kirill Voronin – Tatyana Kosenko.

In Winter Gardens BLACKPOOL Dance Festival 2018 Competition WDC LATIN Professionals held last thrusday May 31, Riccardo Cocchi & Yulia Zagoruychenko, EE.UU. have been champions again!  But if the troika of prize winners has remained unchanged for a long time, then an extremely competitive competition develops outside of it.

Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko from the USA they were recognized again as the strongest, their compatriots Stefano Di Filippo and Daria Chesnokov took silver and Dorin Frikatanu and Marina Sergeeva, representing Moldova, won the bronze.

Kirill and Polina Belorukov Teleshova took fifth place – in the final minutes of their owners ahead of fourth place Troelz Bager and Ina Zhelyazkova (USA).

Cyril and Pauline was the sixth in two dances: Samba lost Nino Lanzhella and Andre Vaydilayte (Italy), and Jive – Nikita and Olga Brovko Urumova of Russia. Nino Langella and Andra Vaidilaite, representing Italy, occupied the sixth place in the final protocol. The judges judged that their best samba (5th place) and the worst, in this dance, the pair remained in the semifinals.

Nikita Brovko and Olga Urumova, Russia’s second pair, took seventh place in the final. Therefore, the first seven seats were distributed in exactly the same way as a year ago.

The Championship was held on December 6, 2018 in Guadalajara with a concurrence of 13 juvenile 1 couples arrivals from all over Spain. The young couple (9 years) of Almassora-Castellón has managed to validate the same title that he already had from the previous edition .

With this Championship the couple concludes their first cycle in the Juvenile 1 category with this extraordinary results:

8 titles of VALENCIA COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS.

5 titles of SPANISH CHAMPIONS.

From now on it is necessary to focus on work to enter Juvenile 2 Category to plan new international projects.

The juvenile couple is guided by Cristina García and Javier Felip as principal trainers and constantly assisted by international teachers such as David Carrillo and Laia Benet in Standard and Christian Sanchez and Miriam Sanchez in Latin being also students in a timely manner of other teachers both National and International.

Alexánder Gascón & Alexandra Zaiko Spanish winners Junior 1 10 dances (*PREMIUM COUPLE PROGRAM)

On Thursday 6th December, 2018, Spanish Champions of 8 Dances Junior 1 dances, Alexánder Gascón & Alexandra Zaiko (ELITE CLUB-VALENCIA) were proclaimed winners,  winning all dances.

The Championship of Spain was held in Guadalajara, near Madrid. The competition was established among 28 couples from all over Spain.

Trainers Valera Zaiko, Yulia Zaiko, and parents thank the other teachers with whom the couple works frequently: Lorera Costa (Spain), Guillem Pascual (Spain) Ilya Danilov (Russia).

GORGEOUS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ADULT STANDARD IN VIENNA. 17-18 NOVEMBER 2018. Chronicle, results, photos and videos

This Saturday, November 17, in Vienna, the Standard World Championship was held. The technical and inspired dance of Dmitry Zharkov and Olga Kulikova allowed them to regain the title of world champion! For the fourth consecutive year!

Dmitry and Olga have risen to the highest step of the podium of the main tournament of the year!

As expected, the representatives of Lithuania Evaldas Sodeika and Eva Zukauskaite became the winners of the silver medal.

 

The bronze was taken by Francesco Galuppo and Debora Pacini from Italy.

The fourth position was obtained by the vice champions of 2018, Evgeny Moshenin and Dana Spitsyna.

In total, 81 couples participated in the World Championship.
